Bank Al-Habib’s rates of return

KARACHI, Jan 7: For six months ending on December 31, Bank Al- Habib paid five per cent return on monthly profit plan and 5.5 per cent on saving bank deposits both with free life insurance.

The bank said in a press release that under profit payable on daily product basis the bank paid 4.5 per cent return on balances from Rs 250,000 to Rs 999,999 and five per cent on balances from Rs 1 million and above. On seven days notice deposits the bank paid three per cent.

Under fixed term deposits, the bank’s clients got 4.5 per cent on one month; 4.75 per cent on three months; 5 per cent on six months; 5.5 per cent on one year; 6 per cent on two years; 7 per cent on four years and 7.5 per cent on five years. And under Al-Habib Mahana Amdani scheme the rates of return were 5.25 per cent for one year; 5.75 for two years; 6.25 for three years; 6.75 for four years and 7.25 per cent for five years.
