KARACHI, Nov 14: Pak-Afghan Clearing Agency (PACA) defeated Sindh Government Press (SGP) 3-0 in the departmental leg of the second-tier Pakistan Football Federation League (PFFL) here on Wednesday.

PACA scored all three goals in the second half of the match at the All Brothers Football Stadium with Ahmed Shah opening the scoring in the 71st minute before Abdul Hadi doubled their lead two minutes later and substitute Mohammad Tahir scoring in added time.

The teams in the PFFL are vying for a spot in the elite Pakistan Premier Football League which resumes after a day’s break on Thursday with two fixtures which see Afghan FC hosting Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and Army playing Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL).

Thursday’s fixtures: PPFL: Afghan FC v PIA (Government High School, Chaman)m, Army v ZTBL (Army Stadium, Rawalpindi).

PFFL: Departmental leg: Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) v Insaf Afghan Company (IAC) (Korangi Baloch Stadium, Karachi).

Club Leg: CDA FC v Baloch FC Noushki (Municipal Football Stadium, Okara); Chand FC v Afghan Sports (District Sports Ground Government College, Layyah).
