LAHORE, Nov 13: The Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid has submitted an adjournment motion to the Punjab Assembly drawing the attention of the chair towards 151 suicides in one month in the province. PML-Q parliamentary leader Chaudhry Zaheeruddin filed the motion.

It says owing to bad governance of the Punjab government, there has been an increase in poverty and joblessness.

“Only in the last month, 151 people committed suicides in Punjab,” it says.

It says the Punjab government had spent Rs3,000 billion but failed to provide social protection to the people of the province.
