KARACHI, Nov 12: Four ships carrying containers, cement, chemical and urea are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of the port on Tuesday.

Bulk carriers Andromeda and Canarise Princess, Mol Dignity, Jolly and Amber Alena were berthed, while, Mol Dignity, Amber Alena and YM North sailed out on Monday.

Total cargo handled amounted to 119,582 tons comprising 79,138 tons of import and 40,444 tons of export.

Port Qasim KARACHI: Two ships carrying containers and edible oil were allotted berths during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release.

Meanwhile, two more ships with chemical and edible oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Seven ships were busy in loading/offloading containers, wheat, rice, cement, edible oil and crude oil respectively. A cargo volume of 58,712 tons comprising 47,926 tons of import and 10,786 tons of export was handled.
