BANNU: During an encounter in Bannu, a policeman lost his life while two terrorists were also killed, DawnNews reported.
The attack took place near Abshar Chowk in the remit of Basia Khel police station in Bannu.
According to police sources, an Elite Force member lost his life while two terrorists were shot dead.
Ibrahim, one of the extremists killed during the encounter, is said to be the nephew of former Tehrik-e-Taliban chief Baiutulah Mehsud.
After an exchange of fire, police also managed to nab one extremist. Four hand grenades, 4 Kalashnikov's and 2 wireless sets were also recovered from the possession of the terrorists.
