ISLAMABAD, Nov 9: Chairman, Federal Board of Revenue, Ali Arshad Hakeem, has transferred three senior tax officers of Inland Revenue Service (IRS) group.

A notification issued here on Friday said Shahid Husain Asad has been transferred and posted as Director-General (Special Initiative), FBR to be stationed at Lahore. Asad was earlier removed from the post of member IRS and was replaced by a retired officer as member on one year contract.

Yasmin Saud, another senior officer of the IRS group, was transferred from the post of Chief Commissioner, Regional Tax Office, Karachi, and posted as member training FBR at Karachi. The post of member training was sanctioned for FBR House, Islamabad, but the chairman transferred the post to Karachi. Similarly, Mohammad Anwar Goraya has been transferred from Multan and posted as Chief Commissioner Regional Tax Office, Karachi.
