LAHORE, Nov 7: Japanese judo expert Hitoshi Sugai, on invitation of the Punjab Judo Association, taught the finer points of the game to 30 judokas at a local club here on Wednesday.
The two-time World Judo champion demonstrated the art of judo before awarding belts and certificates to the players who attended the class.
Sugai, who won the world titles in 1985 and 1987 playing in the -95kg category, said he was impressed by the talent the judokas in the country have and said that it was an indicator that Pakistan could become an international force in the future.—Sports Reporter
