LAHORE, Nov 4: Special assistant to chief minister Zaeem Hussain Qadri has said Governor Latif Khosa was wrongly interpreting apex court order as it never said Punjab government was unconstitutional.

Commenting on a statement of Punjab governor, Qadri in a press release issued on Sunday claimed merit and transparency were the hallmarks of Punjab government and the policy based on these principles could not violate people’s basic rights.

He alleged Latif Khosa had been involved in backing and providing refuge to the looters and dacoits and he should not degrade his office by resorting to such tactics.

SANA: Punjab Law minister Rana Sanaullah has said Manzoor Wattoo would not be able to hoodwink the masses as the people were fully aware of his track record.

In a statement, Rana Sanaullah said those who have gulped down billions of rupees of public did not qualify to talk about law and constitution.

He alleged that political career of Manzoor Wattoo was a “long history of corruption, deceit and betrayal” and his nomination as PPP Punjab president was also because of having such skills.

He said Wattoo’s dream to rule Punjab would never realise.
