LAHORE, Nov 3: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) Director General Ahad Khan Cheema on Saturday suspended a senior Wasa official from service for being absent from duty.

The DG took the action after he came to know about the absence of Director Engineering Muhammad Pervaiz Naveed for many days from duty without prior approval of the competent authority. The accused official has further been directed to mark his attendance in the Directorate of Administration (Wasa) till further orders.
