SUKKUR, Jan 4: Three persons, illegally detained at the Pano Aqil police station, have been recovered on Saturday by the civil judge, Pano Aqil, during a raid ordered by the district and sessions judge, Sukkur.

Taj Mohammad Soomro had filed an application to the district and sessions judge, Sukkur, in which he had stated that the Pano Aqil police had raided the Nek Mohammad village some days ago and arrested three persons.

The three detained perons were identified as Allah Bachayo Soomro, Mohammad Musa Soomro and Haji Qaimuddin Soomro.

The applicant also stated that the three persons were kept under illegal confinement without registering any FIR.

The sessions judge, Sukkur, had ordered the civil judge of Pano Aqil to raid the police station and see the record of the police station.

On inspection, the civil judge of Pano Aqil found all the three persons in the police station’s lock-up without registration of an FIR.

The civil judge subsequently ordered the police to release all the detainees besides asking the concerned SHO to appear before the court on Jan 6.

KIDNAPPED: Unidentified outlaws kidnapped a businessman, Jeewat Ram, travelling in a passenger wagon from Dera Bugti, near Kot Mazari village situated on the border of Sindh and Punjab.

The outlaws kidnapped Jeewat Ram after stopping the wagon near Kashmor.

The outlaws, along with their victim, are said to have fled towards Blochistan.

INJURED: Two persons, Achar Sarki and Khuda Bux Sarki were injured on Saturday after they resisted an attempted robbery in Garhi Hussain Sarki in Jacobabad district.

Five armed outlaws are said to have barged into the house of Achar Sarki near Garhi Hussain and tried to rob the family after overpowering them.
