PESHAWAR: 101 outlaws arrested

PESHAWAR, Jan 3: The police arrested 27 proclaimed offenders and 74 other outlaws during a 48-hour operation, sources said on Friday.

During raids in the city and its outskirts, the police arrested 10 persons wanted in murder cases, two burglars, three highwaymen and 12 other proclaimed offenders. The police also held 34 persons on the charges of brandishing weapons and seized three kalashnikovs, two kalakovs, 11 rifles, 14 shotguns, 21 pistols and 1,460 cartridges.

They arrested 27 narcotics traffickers.—Bureau
