Asif Malik new PIA chairman

ISLAMABAD, Oct 24: Defence Secretary Lt-Gen (retd) Asif Yaseen Malik has been appointed ex-officio chairman of Pakistan International Airlines Corporation and Captain Muhammad Junaid Yunus Managing Director of the national airline.

According to a notification issued by the Establishment Division here on Wednesday, Captain Junaid has been appointed in terms of Section 8 (a) of PIAC Act, (XIX of 1956) with immediate effect and until further orders.—APP
