ISLAMABAD, Oct 20: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) secretary general Saifullah Khan Niazi in a meeting with a European Union delegation here Saturday alleged that pre-poll rigging process had already started and PTI  would expose it soon.

A six-member EU delegation visited the PTI central secretariat to discuss the progress of reforms for the upcoming elections.

The PTI leader stressed on the need for holding the forthcoming elections under the direct supervision of the judiciary and an independent caretaker government.

He further said that Asif Ali Zardari was holding two portfolios which was a clear violation of the constitution and there is a big question mark on fair elections, if Mr Zardari is in the presidency.

Some proposals put forward by the PTI include that no third address should be allowed in the voters list. Only the permanent and temporary addresses, mentioned on the CNIC, should be allowed. The overseas voters should be allowed to cast their votes in elections.
