KARACHI, Oct 19: Seven ships with ethanol, crude oil, DAP and containers are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage of Karachi Port on Saturday.

Rio Blanco, Jolly and APL Chicago with containers, bulk carrier Abdul Latif, general cargo carrier Ocean Prince and tankers Topaz T and Isola Blu were berthed on Friday.

APL Brisbane, Buxtaurus and Caravel Pride sailed out.

Total cargo handled amounted to 61,941 tons comprising 48,420 tons of import and 13,521 tons of export was handled.

Following ships are due to arrive on Saturday: DL Clover and Sunrise Eco to load ethanol, Lahore with crude oil, Halki with DAP, Wan Hai 601 and Cape Flores with containers and Kong Que Song with general cargo and railway bogies.

KARACHI, Oct 19: Four ships carrying containers, edible oil and chemicals were berthed during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Friday.

Meanwhile, three more ships with containers and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage.

Dubai Express, City of Beijing, Infinite Wisdom, Ana Dorothea, Harsanadi and STX Forte were busy in loading and offloading various commodities.

A cargo volume of 39,743 tons comprising 24,637 tons of import and 15,106 tons of export was handled.
