Six robbers arrested

ATTOCK, Oct 17:  Police have arrested six robbers, who were involved in killing a dumper truck driver and also looting hotel workers near Burhan village recently.

The Attock district police’s spokesman informed newsmen on Wednesday that police have arrested six robbers including their ringleader.

The manager of the hotel said the robbers came to Shabeer Awan hotel on main G. T. Road near Burhan on September 9 and looted money and mobile phones from him and others employees.

He said they also killed a dumper driver Mahfooz Khan who just came at the hotel for rest. The robbers opened fire on him out of fear killing him on the spot and escaped from the scene, he maintained. —Correspondent
