Aside from a reckless Austrian jumping through space the scene on the ground was pretty exciting too. The Austin City Limits Music Festival in Texas, USA conglomerated a whole host of different genres. The very retro Iggy and The Stooges staged a remarkable performance as did electronic music legend Avicii. In Boston, Massachusetts James Taylor met the Dalai Lama.

Pantene is successfully hosting a fashion festival under the theme of Bridal Couture in Lahore, Pakistan. Amsterdam celebrates Ghanian culture in a show of vibrant colour and traditional festivities. London, which has always welcomed the delightfully bizarre played host to hairstylist Mario Krankl yesterday.
