LAHORE, Oct 14: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Syed Munawar Hasan on Sunday criticised the Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain’s direction to his workers about collection of clerics’ particulars and said the party had failed to deliver despite being a partner in the federal and the provincial governments.

“Since the MQM came into being, the people of Karachi had been collecting dead bodies, while extortion and target killings had become a routine. The target killers and extortionists were roaming there freely,” he told various delegations visiting Mansoora.

While condemning the attack on Malala Yousafzai as inhuman and immoral, Mr Hasan was of the view that a particular group working on the US agenda was involved in Malala attack.
