CHARSADDA, Jan 1: After failing in an attempt to kidnap a girl, the kidnappers shot her dead in Mandani on Wednesday. Pari Begum told police that Amjad with his accomplices entered the house and tried to kidnap her young daughter Razia.

She said that on her resistance the abductors shot her daughter dead and fled. Police have arrested Amjad. —Correspondent
