KARACHI: Six people, including three victims of kidnapping were gunned down in various incidents of violence on Wednesday, DawnNews reported.

One person was gunned down in the Azeempura area of Shah Faisal Colony by unknown assailants.

Another body was found on the Hawkes Bay beach. The deceased had been gunned down, according to the police.

One body bearing torture marks was found near Paracha Chowk in Shershah. The deceased, who had been shot dead, was a resident of Orangi Town.

Three bodies, bearing torture marks, were found in gunny bags at the Mirza Adam Khan Road in the Garden area, near the Shaheen Hotel in Shershah and in the SITE area respectively. All three of the deceased had been tortured and shot dead after being kidnapped.

In a separate incident in Landhi, a mob lynched a pair of robbers, killing one and injuring the other.

In another separate incident, a regional official of a political party was seriously injured in a firing incident in the Sachal Iqra Apartments. The situation in the neighbourhood became tense after the incident.
