LAHORE, Oct 8: Pakistan Institute of Fashion and Design Vice-Chancellor Prof Hina Tayaba Khalil has lauded the thesis work of Lahore College for Women Universitys design and visual arts department students.

Prof Khalil said: “The marketing campaign designed by students is aesthetically appealing and of international standard.” She was visiting a three-day thesis work display of students of LCWU D&VA department which concluded here on Monday.

D&VA’s Prof Zamurd Safdar said a number of national and multinational companies had shown their interest to sponsor marketing campaigns by the department. LCWU Vice-Chancellor Dr Sabiha Mansoor said the thesis work on display showed that students were ready for practical lives.

At least 34 graphic designers and ceramicists had displayed their artistic and creative work at the thesis show. — Staff Reporter
