Tax returns

ISLAMABAD, Dec 30: The Central Board of Revenue (CBR) has extended the office timing till 7.00 pm on Tuesday for filing of income tax returns.

According to the official announcement issued on Monday the last date for filing of income tax returns and deposit of tax in company cases is December 31, which would not be extended.

For convenience of the taxpayers, all the branches of State Bank of Pakistan and authorized branches of National Bank of Pakistan would remain opened till 6.00 pm on Tuesday for accepting the deposits of income tax.

Complaints, if any, regarding non-availability of return forms might be directed either to the CBR or the regional commissioner concerned for redressal, said the announcement.
