Heroine, hit or miss?

Being the most anticipated movie of year, Heroine, seems to have failed to leave an impression on audiences if the weekend collections are anything to go by. According to statistics available on the TOI, the Kareena Kapoor-starrer has bagged approximately Rs. 25 crore.

“People expected it to be like The Dirty Picture, but it is not. It’s a very boring Fashion part 2,” says trade analyst Amod Mehra.

Nonetheless the reviews and response to the film has been pretty mixed and thereby there hasn't been a distinct rise in the business as expected.

However Taran Adrash has different opinion. “Watch HEROINE for Madhur's imposing direction, for Kareena's superlative performance, watch it also for its fearless, inspiring and enlightening storyline divulging the scandalous realities of the movie industry. Try not to miss it!”
