LAHORE, Sept 20: Pakistan Muslim League-N President Nawaz Sharif says the federal government has given the people nothing but despondency during its four and a half years’ rule.
He said in a meeting with PML-Q MNA Riaz Husain Pirzada here on Thursday, says a press release.
Mr Sharif said inflation, unemployment, lawlessness and loadshedding were reflective of the “incompetence and bad governance” of the government and that allies of the government were equally responsible for the failures.
He said his doors were open for all Muslim Leaguers.
Mr Sharif said the PML-N undertook a record development work in its two previous incomplete tenures and would begin its journey again after winning the forthcoming elections.
Mr Pirzada said all Muslim Leagues would have to unite under the dynamic leadership of Mr Sharif for solidarity and survival of the country. He said the people were fed up with the policies of the present government and they were looking towards the PML-N chief for solution to the national problems.
He forwarded various suggestions to Mr Sharif for the development and rights of people of south Punjab, Bahawalpur and Cholistan.
Chief Minister Shahbaz Shahrif, Opposition Leader Chaudhry Nisar, MNA Khwaja Asif, Mian Sajjad Husain Pirzada, former Bahawalpur district council chairman; Kazim Ali Pirzada and Safdar Gill were also present.
