Fata MNAs pledge support to Jamali

ISLAMABAD, Dec 28: Members of the National Assembly from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas called on Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali on Friday and affirmed their support to him in securing the vote of confidence.

During the meeting at Prime Minister’s House, the MNAs discussed matters pertaining to their constituencies and extended support to the government in its endeavour to strengthen democracy and set up an Islamic welfare society.

The prime minister thanked them for their support and said it would strengthen the democratic system. He assured them that efforts would be made to bring the tribal areas at par with rest of the country.

The MNAs who called on the prime minister were: Maulana Mohammad Sadiq and Maulana Mohammad Khalilur Rehman of Khyber Agency and Maulana Ghulam Mohammad Sadiq of Mohmand Agency.—APP
