ATTOCK: Around 26 persons including 15 students were seriously injured in a road accident on Wednesday at Attock-Sanjwal road.

According to reports received, an Attock-bound coach after departing from Rawalpindi was on its way when it overturned due to a tyre bursting near a railway crossing on Attock-Sanjwal road.

26 passengers including 15 students sustained serious injuries as a result of the accident.

Police and rescue teams rushed the scene and shifted the injured to the district headquarters hospital Attock.

Some of the critically injured were later shifted to a hospital in Rawalpindi.
