KARACHI, Sept 18: Maheen Dada brushed aside Hania Naveed 6-0, 6-2 to win ladies singles title in the national seniors and juniors tennis championship at Karachi Gymkhana on Tuesday.

The pair of Mohammad Ahmed and Mian Bilal overcame fighting pair of Mudassir Murtaza and Imad Amer 7-5, 7-5 to land the juniors’ under-18 doubles crown.

Meanwhile, top two seeds overcame stiff challenge from their opponents before setting a date for the juniors’ under-18 singles final. Top seed Mudassir Murtaza whipped Mian Bilal 6-2, 5-7, 6-4 while second seed Kashan-ul-Haq routed Hasnain Manzoor 6-1, 1-6, 6-1.

The final between Mudassir and Kashan will be played on Wednesday at 5pm.
