KARACHI, Sept 16: The Muttahida Qaumi Movement coordination committee has strongly condemned the hike in the prices of petroleum products and said it would add to the problems of people and make their life more difficult.

The committee said in a statement that the POL prices had been increased manifold in the past by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority, which was unjust. The increase in the POL prices had a direct effect on food items and other things of daily use which were becoming beyond people access, it said.
