LAHORE, Sept 10: Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed a deep sense of grief and sorrow over the loss of life and property in Sindh due to torrential rains and floods.

He said the Punjab government and the people of the province stood shoulder to shoulder with flood victims of Sindh in this hour of difficulty.

The chief minister said the Punjab government would spare no effort to ensure assistance to the flood-affected Sindhi brethren.

In the first phase, the chief minister has announced relief goods worth Rs100 million for immediate assistance of the Sindhi brethren besides ensuring relief activities in Sindh.
