QUETTA, Sept 10: At least 13 people, among them two women, were injured in a remote-controlled bomb attack on a bus in the industrial town of Hub on Monday, police said.

A motorcycle rigged with explosives and parked on the roadside near the provincial border with Sindh was blown up when the bus carrying employees of a cement factory was passing through the area.

All the injured were workers of the factory, police said.

Security personnel on the bus fired into the air after the explosion, triggering panic among the area people.

The injured were taken to the Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital.
