If you are a ghazal fan, watch out for a latest version of the genre performed in the most contemporary manner. Thora Thora is a beautiful ghazal written by Imam Shamil who is a former student of the great poet Jaun Elia. It talks about the imperfections in all of us and how every human is unique in their own special way.

A Toronto-based band Swaras has beautifully composed it in a very mellow, semi-classical style maintaining the contextual gist and rhythm of the ghazal and by adding a touch of world fusion music. The video of the track will be out soon. So keep your fingers crossed. Guitar player Abbas Premjee has played the mohan veena on the track which makes it brighter like a nice sunny day after a heavy downpour. Lead vocalist of Swaras, Asad Q, has done justice to the number.
