Govt offer to opposition

LAHORE, Dec 26: PML-N parliamentary party leader in the Punjab Assembly Rana Sanaullah Khan met Speaker Afzal Sahi on Thursday and told him that the opposition had planned to requisition another session.

Mr Sahi reportedly told him that if the opposition reviewed its decision, the government would itself call a session in January.

The MP from Faisalabad was critical of the prorogation of the earlier requisitioned session for lack of quorum.
