LAHORE, Aug 31: The Punjab government on Friday relieved six DMG officials to allow them work in Balochistan as per orders of the Federal Establishment Division.

It also transferred three district coordination officers and two other senior officials, allowing them to join management courses.

Those sent to Balochistan included Nankana DCO Muhammad Hasan Iqbal, Sheikhupura DCO Asad Rehman Gilani, Cooperatives Societies Registrar Muhammad Sheharyar Sultan, Additional Secretary Home Khalid Sherdil, Punjab Education Reform Programme Additional Programme Director Amir Sultan Tarin and Wali Muhammad.

Rahim Yar Khan DCO Ahmad Javaid Qazi, Attock DCO Shakil Ahmad and Lodhran DCO Ghulam Farid were allowed to join management course and were asked to report to the S&GAD after its completion.

Additional charge of the posts of these three DCOs was given to additional collectors of the districts concerned, Wajid Ali Shah (Rahim Yar Khan), Muhammad Abid Khan (Attock) and Syed Najaf Abbas (Lodhran).

Meanwhile, Officer on Special Duty in Home Department Kaukab Nadeem Warraich was posted as CMIT member.

S&GAD’s Member Inquiries Muhammad Ashraf Bhatti and CMIT member Khalid Mahmood Qazi were allowed to join management course at the Staff College and were asked to report to the S&GAD after its completion.

Deputy Secretary Sports Ishratullah Khan Niazi was made an OSD and was replaced by Ms Shamas Hashmi.
