LAHORE, Aug 31: Former prime minister Yousuf Raza Gilani says minorities’ representation should be increased in Parliament according to their population size.

Talking to reporters here on Friday, he said the accountability bill would be tabled in the National Assembly in the next session. He said the national commission for creation of new provinces in Punjab had been constituted in accordance with the resolution of the Punjab Assembly.

He said the PML-N’s majority of the south was in favour of creation of the south Punjab province. — Staff Reporter
