Man kills brother

ISLAMABAD, Aug 31: A man killed his brother over their sister’s marriage proposal dispute in capital’s rural area on Friday, police said.

The incident took place at Sharifabad in the limits of Kural police where Nadeem attacked his brother Raqeeb with a dagger. As a result the victim received multiple wounds and started bleeding. The attacker escaped, leaving behind his brother. The police were informed who reached the spot and shifted the body to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The police said the family hailed from Kotli Sattian and settled in Sharifabad for the last few years and labourer by profession. — Staff Reporter
