KARACHI: Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Justice (R) Fakharuddin G.Ibrahim has urged the lawyers community to encourage people to get themselves enrol in voter lists.

Talking to lawyers during his visit to Sindh High Court on Thursday, the CEC said that he accepted the office of chief election commissioner as challenge and he wants to bring a fundamental change in the system through holding free and fair general elections in the country, he added.

He also appealed to the lawyers to convince the people to cast vote which is their basic right.
