LAHORE, Aug 22: All government and private schools are opening after summer and Eid vacation on Thursday (today).
Meanwhile, the Lahore executive district officer (education) has directed that all public and private sector schools should ensure anti-dengue measures and display a certificate at the main gate that the schools had been made dengue-larvae free.
The EDO asked all DEOs, Deputy DEOs and zonal heads to monitor and ensure that all schools had taken anti-dengue measures.
In case of non-compliance by private schools, the EDO said, the schools would be sealed.
