PESHAWAR, Aug 15: Police on Wednesday seized two more bullet-riddled bodies in fields near Shaikhan village on the outskirts of the provincial capital.

The bodies found in jute bags along the border of Khyber Agency were of Mawazuddin, of Badhber, and Arif Shah, of Hangu. Police shifted the bodies to a local mortuary for autopsy.

A police official said the bodies bore signs of violence.

He said he didn’t know when the two were killed but could say with certainty that they’re not killed in Shaikhan village. “They’re killed somewhere else and dumped in the village,” he said.

Earlier on Sunday, police found two bodies bundled in a sack and dumped in Bolai area in Chamkani police station limits here. Also in the day, two rockets fired from Khyber Agency landed at a deserted place in Shaikhan village. However, no damage to life or property was reported. — Bureau Report
