KARACHI, Aug 15: Three container ships were accommodated berths, while two more ships with containers and diesel oil also arrived at the outer anchorage during the last 24 hours, said a PQA press release on Wednesday.

Ten ships, Maersk Kolkata, Hanjin Venezia, Asir, Anoushka, K-Coral, BBC Emsland, Ahmed Arab, Bunga Azalea, Olympic Serenity and Harsanadi, were busy in loading/offloading containers, wheat, fertiliser, project cargo, vegetable oil, crude oil and chemicals.

A cargo volume of 104,680 tons comprising 73,600 tons of import and 31,080 tons of export was handled.
