HSSC Part-Iresult announced

ISLAMABAD, Aug 13: Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) on Monday announced the result of Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) Part-I Annual Examination, 2012 in which 49.87 per cent candidates remained successful.

According to the board’s spokesperson, 48,696 students submitted applications to appear in the examination, however, 48,095 took it. Out of them 23,985 students were declared successful. The examination was held in April and concluded in June.

The pass percentage remained at 55.27, 65.24, 48.53 per cent in pre-engineering, pre-medical and science groups, respectively.

In humanities group, 2,252 male students and 7,652 females appeared out of which 3,837 candidates passed.

“During the exams, 27 unfair means cases were reported and all had been decided.

A judicious procedure was adopted to decide the cases and personal hearing was allowed to all concerned,” the spokesperson claimed.
