PESHAWAR: Security forces bombarded different areas of Orakzai agency killing 10 militants and destroying three of their hideouts, DawnNews reported on Sunday.

Security forces carried out bombings in the areas of Mamuzai, Nindar Mela and Barmela using fighter jets, assistant political agent Muhammad Rafiq said.

Security sources claimed that 92 per cent of the Orakzai area has been cleared by the security forces.

Meanwhile, in the area of lower Dir, a pro-government tribal leader Khalil Khan was shot dead by militants.
