KOHAT Aug 10: A teenage boy shot dead his uncle over a property dispute inside the Hangu courts on Saturday.

The police said both 12-year-old Ijaz and his uncle Abdullah ran a property dispute. They had come to the courts for hearing of the case. Soon after appearing before the court, Ijaz pulled out a pistol and killed Abdullah inside the premises of courts. Both the victim and the accused belonged to Naway Kalay area of Kohat. The Hangu police registered case and launched efforts to arrest the accused.

Meanwhile, the additional district and sessions judge, Kohat awarded two life terms besides a fine of Rs1.62 million to a man for murder on Saturday.

The convict, Rabel, had fired at a marriage party in Sumari Bala six years back, killing Riaz Khana and Bibi Khadeeja.—Correspondent
