PESHAWAR: A bomb explosion in Peshawar’s Matni area partially damaged a house early on Friday, DawnNews reported.

No casualties were reported in the blast.

Security and emergency teams reached the site of blast.

Police sources said that militants had planted a bomb on the boundary wall of a city resident's house.

Militants were active in Matni after the Aman Lashkar’s announcement to cooperate with the government, the sources added.

A bomb that had been planted on a motorcycle was defused by security personnel, a day earlier.

Police source claimed that had the bomb exploded it could have caused immense damage.
