QUETTA, Aug 6: The federal cabinet’s special committee on Balochistan, headed by Minister for Naveed Qamar, postponed on Monday its scheduled visit to Quetta.

Sources said the Balochistan government had been informed about the postponement of the committee’s visit to Quetta on Tuesday but the reason for the decision was not disclosed. The committee has held meetings in Islamabad with Governor Zulfiqar Ali Magsi, Chief Minister Aslam Raisani and other Baloch leaders.—Staff Correspondent
