Ever since the news of the resumption of cricketing ties between India and Pakistan broke, our very own Veena Malik has been feeling excited. She claims she is a big cricket buff (yes, we know, which is why the Mohammad Asif episode in her life happened) and is thrilled to know that the Pakistan cricket team will soon be visiting India.

When an Indian journalist asked her on whose side during the cricket series would she be on, Veena M replied, “You know, this is such a difficult question because my loyalties are divided! The kind of adulation and love that I have received from India and Indians is unparalleled. Even during the World Cup, I had difficulty choosing one team over the other in the semifinals. But then, as a Pakistani national, I will be rooting for Pakistan’s team, though I love Team India, too.”
