KARACHI, July 31: Only four of the 269 candidates who appeared in the Higher Secondary School Certificate (class XII) home economics group examinations-2012 got A1 grade.

Twenty-four candidates passed the exam with A grade, 41 with B grade, 54 with C grade, 35 with D grade and one candidate passed it with E grade.

The results were announced by the Board of Intermediate Education Karachi Controller of Examinations, Imran Khan Chishti, on Tuesday.

Amna Athar Jafree claimed the first position with 1,001 out of the total 1,200 marks (83.4 per cent), Yousra Afzal clinched the second position with 989 marks (82.4 per cent) and Nida Azhar got the third position with 961 marks (80 per cent).
