Faisal to visit CDA offices today

ISLAMABAD, Dec 19: Interior Minister Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat will visit the Capital Development Authority (CDA) headquarters here on Friday, a source in the ministry said.

It will be the first visit of Mr Hayat to the CDA headquarters after assuming the office of interior minister.

Earlier, interior secretary Naseem Noorani was given a briefing by the chief commissioner Islamabad, Mir Laiq Shah, on the working of both the CDA and the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) administration, the source said.

The interior secretary has also apprised the minister about the performance of the CDA so that he can understand the problems and issue directives for the betterment of the authority, he said.
