LAHORE: Three meetings of Young Doctors Association (YDA) office-bearers and Punjab government representatives remained inconclusive over the service structure of the doctors.

A source said on Sunday that YDA representatives including Dr Nasir Abbas and Dr Amir Bandayshah held three meetings with representatives of the Punjab Government, including Senator Ishaq Dar, Senator Pervez Rashid and MNA Zahid Hamid, to reach a consensus on the service structure of young doctors but no breakthrough could be made.

Some positive progress is expected on promotion matters but financial matters are still to be resolved, the YDA source said.

Another meeting is expected on July 30.
