HYDERABAD, Dec 19: The Dadu district Nazim has invited applications from students of the University of Sindh and university model schools for grant of scholarships for the year 2002-2003.

He has sent a letter in this connection to the vice-chancellor of the university.

The scholarships would be awarded on merit and poverty basis.

The students, having domicile of the Dadu district, can obtain scholarship forms from the office of the district Nazim.

The forms can be submitted up to Jan 31.

DATE EXTENDED: The Institute of Business Administration, University of Sindh, on Thursday extended the date for submitting forms for admission to MBA, evening programme, up to Dec 28.

CONVOCATION: The convocation of the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro, would be held on Dec 21 at the university auditorium.

Students were advised to be present on Dec 20 for rehearsal.

EXAMS: The University of Sindh, Jamshoro, has decided to adopt strict security measures and also install movie cameras at sensitive places during first and second semester examinations, scheduled to be started on Dec 28.
