KARACHI: Post-MSc fellowships at KU

KARACHI, Dec 18: The University of Karachi has said that post-MSc fellowships are available at the A.Q. Khan Institute of Biotechnology and Genetic Engineering, for which the eligibility is MSc in biological sciences with at least first division in MSc/BSc.

Last date for submission of application is Jan 3. The selection will be made through an interview on Jan 10.

LLB EXAMS: Karachi University has said that forms and fee for LLB (final) supplementary examination can be submitted without late fee up to Dec 31 and with a late fee of Rs500 from Jan 4 to 11.

MBA ADMISSIONS: The KU Directorate of Evening Programme has asked all fresh students of the Business School (evening programme), whose names had been mentioned in the merit list, to deposit their admission and tuition fees through pay- orders in the name of the University of Karachi (evening programme) in the audit office from 3:30pm to 6:30pm, failing which their admissions would be cancelled.

Classes will begin on Jan 1. The fee can be submitted from Dec 23 to 28. Total fee for the MBA programme is Rs22,000.

COMPUTER SCIENCE: The KU Department of Computer Science has announced that all candidates in the waiting list, who have a final percentage of marks greater than or equal to 50, have provisionally been selected for admission to BS (CS) evening programme.

The candidates who have applied for the admissions to MCS and who have final percentage greater than or equal to 28.39 have also been provisionally selected for admissions to the MCS evening programme.

The selected candidates should appear before the interview board on Dec 19, from 10am to 12 noon.

Last date to deposit the semester fee is Dec 24.—APP/PPI
