PESHAWAR, Dec 18: NWFP Health Minister Inayatullah Khan on Wednesday ordered inquiry into the death of an injured employee of Town-I, Peshawar, who died in the hospital due to the alleged negligence of the staff at Lady Reading Hospital on Tuesday.

In his order, the minister directed the chief executive of Lady Reading Hospital to submit an inquiry report at the earliest, said a handout.

The minister also warned that those employees found responsible for the tragic incident would be punished according to law.

He also warned the authorities of government hospitals that negligence in the provision of emergency health care to the patients would not be tolerated.
